Our Story

Heart 2 Heart Senior Placement is a product of the life and professional experiences of its founders. In assisting aging loved ones, the founders, Angelica Arrospide, Grace Nguyen and Rich Fleming, discovered how difficult and time consuming it can be to identify the appropriate assisted living community for a loved one, especially in a time of crisis.

Grace Nguyen

Founder & Senior Placement Advisor

Grace Nguyen is one of the founding partners at Heart 2 Heart Senior Placement .Raised in the vibrant community of Southern California with five siblings, Grace's early experiences instilled in her a deep-rooted passion for service and compassion—values she carries forward in her work today. Inspired by her family's dedication to giving back, Grace has always had a nurturing spirit, leading her professions where she could make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

Following a heart-wrenching personal journey marked by the loss of two close friends to cancer, Grace made a pivotal career shift from teaching elementary school to volunteering more in the community, especially with the seniors. It was during this time of grief that she recognized the profound challenges families face when navigating the complexities of aging and families having to deal with elder care, and then witnessing the struggles of finding the right care. Fueled by a desire to help others avoid hardships, Grace dedicated herself to educating families about the importance of long-term care, and support families during these difficult times.

Now residing in Hayward, California with her loving family, Grace continues her journey of service. It is this blend of personal experience, professional expertise, and unwavering commitment to community that drives Grace and the team at Heart 2 Heart Senior Placement to provide exceptional personal eldercare referrals and guidance.

Angelica Arrospide

Founder & Senior Placement Advisor

A proud Bay Area native, Angelica is one of the compassionate leaders behind Heart 2 Heart Senior Placement. Her journey into senior care began in her early 20s, inspired by her experience assisting her grandmother, who moved in and out of assisted living communities. More recently, her work has taken on deeper meaning as she supports her own mother, who is living with dementia. These personal experiences have given Angelica unique insights into the challenges seniors and their families face, sparking a lifelong passion for making these transitions smoother and more supportive.

With a Master’s in Public Administration with a focus in Health Services Administration and years of experience in healthcare, Angelica brings a unique combination of knowledge, empathy, and professionalism to her role. Her ability to blend compassion with practical expertise ensures that each family feels heard, understood, and supported throughout the process.

Through her extensive network of senior care professionals and trusted advisors, Angelica ensures that families have access to the best resources and opportunities available. She works tirelessly to connect seniors with communities where they can thrive, tailoring every recommendation to meet each family’s unique needs and values.

Guided by integrity, respect and transparency, Angelica believes in empowering families to make informed decisions. Her philosophy is simple: every senior deserves to age with dignity, and every family deserves a partner they can trust to guide them during this important transition.

Outside of her work, Angelica enjoys traveling, hiking and spending quality time with her family. She finds inspiration and balance in the outdoors, which helps her approach each day with renewed purpose and a commitment to the families she serves.

Rich launched Heart 2 Heart Senior Placement Advisors to assist seniors and their loved one in identifying the appropriate senior living community to meet their care and lifestyle needs.

As a real estate agent, an increasing number of Rich’s clients are seniors and their families selling a senior’s home in order to pay for assisted living community expenses. These clients are often transitioning in a crisis situation with little time to identify the care community that best fit their needs. The end result, is often a senior living decision that mandates an emergency home sale and placement in a care community that may not meet the seniors needs.

As an adult child, Rich watched his parents’ ability to live independently decline and experienced the conflict that decline created between their desire to independently live in their home and the reality that they needed a safer environment and more care. Searching for a senior community that met their care, lifestyle and financial needs was time consuming and overwhelming.

Reducing the stress associated with a senior living transitions is why Rich created Heart 2 Heart.

A big believer in helping through sharing, Rich started a YouTube Channel and a Facebook group to educate seniors and their adult children about a wide variety of eldercare and senior living topics. He is also a current member and past president of the Rotary Club of Walnut Creek and a proud Cal Bear (B.A – Political Economics) and UCLA Bruin (MBA).
